The long awaited eponymous debut album from Danity Kane, the MTV-made band featuring La Quinta native Aubrey O’Day, drops in record stores nationwide on Aug. 22. DK is made up of five female vocalists and dancers who endured two seasons of eliminations under the watchful eye of hip-hop artist/producer P. Diddy on the MTV series, “MTB3.” The video for the band’s first single, “Show Stopper,” is in rotation on MTV and available for viewing on MTV.com. A behind-the-scenes video, “Making the Video,” also is available for viewing on the music television site.
