Danity Kane’s limo driver should be especially careful in Toledo on Sunday. The group, the brainchild of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ MTV series Making the Band 3, is playing Headliners Sunday after canceling an Oct. 12 show because the band’s limousine collided with another car in Toledo. Three of the five band members suffered minor injuries in the accident at Collingwood Boulevard and Cherry Street. The limo driver was cited for a stop-sign violation.

When the group’s self-titled album was released last month on Diddy’s Bad Boy Records, it looked like Danity Kane would go the way of Da Band, hapless winners of “Making The Band 2.” But Danity Kane’s first single, “Show Stopper,” caught on and propelled the album to No. 1 on the Billboard charts. Tonight we’ll find out how the girls do without cameras and pre-fab plotlines when they headline the Louisville Palace, with Code Red opening (8 p.m., $26.50, $29.50). The show is a production of Louisville’s PNUT Entertainment brothers Lee and Sean Downing. -Courier-Journal.com

Danity Kane are still traumatised after a frightening car crash in Ohio. Four members of the group were injured in a limousine accident en route to a performance in Toledo. The five female singer, Aubrey, D. Woods, Shannon, Dawn, and Aundrea won the third installment of Comb’s reality talent competition MTB. O’Day tells MTV News, “We had our first car accident together. We haven’t really been sleeping all that much (since the accident) and it’s been a very trying time for all of us. “But we’re ready to get back out there.” The group members, minus Woods, who caught a later flight to Toledo, were struck by another vehicle at an intersection and were treated and released at a local hospital. The Show Stopper stars returned to performing Thursday when they appeared on US morning show Live with Regis and Kelly and are scheduled to be one of the opening acts on Christina’s North American tour in February. -ContactMusic.com

Danity Kane is scheduled to appear on Live with Regis and Kelly this Thursday, October 19th. Due to the fact that they are in the hospital I’m not sure if the show will be postponed for another day.

“Hi everyone, Unfortunately the rumors are true. DK did indeed get into a really bad car accident. The girls are in the hospital and are trying to get better. I just spoke with Aubrey and she has a mild concussion and a black eye. Dawn hurt her shoulder and they all have whiplash injuries. D.Woods was the only one not present. The girls felt so bad about not being able to attend the club appearance and still wanted to show up. Clearly the doctor did not grant their wishes, he advised them that there is no way they can be in public right now. Doctor’s orders were medication and plenty of rest. Aubrey wanted everyone to know that Danity Kane is very sorry and upset about not being able to make their appearance at the club tonight. Let’s all wish them well and great recovery.
