How would I go about promoting a gaming website, that involves live podcasts and gaming reviews and articles, alongside showcasing new urban music…. without paying for it?!
What are the best facebook / gaming forums to post the link to?

Ask someone your friendly with on-line that has popular blogs and such to give you a plug. Facebook and random gaming forums as you mentioned. Leave a link in all your forum signatures, and people that’s willing to have it in there signatures.
Videos is the best way to get traffic review a game, and other techy stuff post to youtube. Your a girl look hot (not sl*t) in the videos and you’ll have plenty of wagging tongues wanting to see your site!

You can create your own facebook fan page for the website. Also join different fan pages to video games and post your link there.
On any forum you are a member of post your website in the signature. You could also make a YouTube video.
