Harry Potter fans! Are u going to buy the book?!?

Melissa Aneli from a Harry Potter fan site called The-Leaky-Cauldron.org has been spending the last couple of years writing a book based on the CrAzY Harry Potter fandom…it’s called: "Harry: A History."

And it’s coming out this Tuesday, November 4, 2008. It sounds like it’s going to be great! And it has exclusive interviews from JK ROWLING about the series and stories from fans, Scholastic and Bloomsbury INSIDERS, people like Laura Mallory who oppose the books and all kinds of different things. I’m so excited and I can’t wait to buy it!!

Have any of you heard about this book?! And if so, are you going to buy it??

JK Rowling, Scholastic, and Bloomsbury are all personally involved with the book…they know the author and gave her exclusive interviews about their own experiences and opinions about the fandom….

there’s this very interesting story on the website about this crazy "fan" that stole the Order of the Phoenix manuscript and ran out into a field and he had a gun and said he was willing to "die for harry potter." it was crazy.

there’s also something very interesting info from JK Rowling about the veil and why different characters reacted differently to it. it’s in the "vault 27" section.

I hadn’t heard about it. It sounds like it will be interesting! I think I’ll put it on my Christmas wish list. You’ll have to let me know how it is so I’ll know if it’s worth buying.

How are they getting it published? Did they have to get permission from JKR?

    hmm I haven’t heard of it. I thought this question was going to be about jk rowling’s new book. well, I probably won’t buy either of them to tell you the truth. at least not right now. I’m far too busy to read them. but maybe someday.

    hmm…sounds interesting..I’ll see if i can get my hands on it.Not fussed about it,though.
    I never heard about it till now..She hasn’t done a good job of publicity.
