I made a fan forum, how do I get it on google and other search engines?

I made a fan site for the show Brothers and Sisters http://brothersandsisters.freeforums.org/index.php?sid=cb42d83a8c7649d20bf74bbcc8be3625 and was wondering what was the best way for getting this to come up on a google/yahoo search.

The Google Bot has been in, but not done anything yet, but its only been 6 days, how long does it take.
