Let’s say I want to have a reseller hosting website (ex: i want to run a celebrity fansite hosting site like fan-sites.org).
On some of these sub domains there might be hostees that want a .com or .net account – They’ll register the domain, but how will I get that domain hosted on my site? I know they need to change their name servers…but that’s all I know.
I recommend Dreamhost http://www.dreamhost.com/hosting.html
This is the best and cheapest option:
1. You just need to buy standard plan with them
Their price is $119.40/year ($9.95/month if you pay yearly) but you can use the promo code PLUS and get the $50 discount +2 Free domain names.
Disk space: 500 GB
Bandwidth: 5000 GB
2 Free domain names
Unlimited domains and subdomains
Price: $5.78/month ($69.40/year)
**You can use their huge Disk Space and host unlimited number of sites on a single account.
2. When your clients want to host their domain on your plan, they just need to change their name servers to Dreamhost (ns1.dreamhost.com ns2.dreamhost.com ns3.dreamhost.com)
3. Now you can create a sub account for them, and choose how much access you want to give them. They can have a full separate sub account with ftp access and all.
4. When they point somesite.com to Dreamhost, you (or they) just need to add that domain in Dreamhost control panel and that’s it.
5. Now you just need to upload that site to your dreamhost root folder
6. You can have a new site up and running in less than 5 minutes from the moment you register the domain name.
You need to talk to your host about an addon domain, or if you have cpanel you can add them as an addon domain. They have to change their nameserver first though through their registrar. This could be something like godaddy.com

You need to get a host that lets you have unlimited domains, such as vistapages. I will include their link in my sources.
And then go to your cPanel and put them as an addon account. If you are an addon account to someone else, then you will need to talk to them and discuss it with them first.
A good place to buy domains is go daddy. You can google ‘godaddy promo codes’ and then get a single domain for about $6.00 a year, or three dot nets for $3.00 a year. I’ll include their link, too.
