I get obsessed with your average person from time to time. I then become a fan of them and next thing you know i am stalking them and try to imitate them and buy the things they buy and wear. I sign up for social networking sites just so i can see the person whom i admires page or find out more about them and Analise them once again.
Also, i am very particular in a way, i have only stalked and took interest in females. I definitely don’t have low self esteem , these people are like my celebs from time to time, i just find them interesting but never fancy them.
Most of them are dancers , currently obsessed with a dancer called Marino, she is a dancer. She doesn’t know i am obsessed with her at all and she doesnt even live near so i cant officially stalk her all the time either lol.
Ive done this for years. What reminded me to ask this question is a progress file from school, which i recently recieved because i have left school now. i lied in it and it shows ive been this way from a young age, say 12 or 13 up.
PS note: I am a female and gay and already know that about myself. Its just i want to know if i have O.C.D or anything like that because i feel the way i am acting and have always acted is a disorder or something? i dont know. But i dont want to be any of these women and i love being me and who i am.
Thank you for answering in advance x APPRECIATED MUCH.
Damn bitch you crazy.
Does this obsession control your life? That is the question you need to answer. It is healthy- in fact, very healthy- to have fantasies. Fantasies allow you to test out waters you couldn’t in real life. For example, a fantasy about having sex with Brad Pitt isn’t realistic but fun to have. As far as "stalking" them (I’m assuming on Facebook) it is normal to be infatuated with a celebrity but if you control your behavior, spending patterns, and (in extreme cases) the way you talk (or if you think you are becoming that person), it crosses the line from healthy to full blown unhealthy obsession. My recommendation is to avoid the person. Try doing an all day activity, like going to an amusement park, where there is no computer, and resist buying anything or doing anything related to the person. If that is extremely difficult, it may be time to talk to someone. If you are unsure and you have good mental health insurance or are at university, talking to someone never hurts and may make you feel more at ease. Hope that helps!
