I’m not understanding what your photo has to do with your question.
Yes, the spelling, grammar, phrasing are mostly terrible on this site. I’ve stopped answering questions which make no sense or are very badly spelled.
If people don’t speak the language, they should say so. If I posted in a language I didn’t speak well, I’d apologize in advance for any errors I might make.
I am hoping eventually all the people who aren’t serious and don’t care will drop off this site. If it degenerates into a constant fest of "how can I loose waite" "Where can find porn 4free" "do u think im hot" and "10 points for the first answer!!!!!!!!" I’ll just stop coming here and answering questions.

BTW, "I’m just curious, who’s a Slipknot fan, because I am" still isn’t correct. It could be phrased as something along the lines of "I am a Slipknot fan and am curious if anyone else here is," or "I’m a Slipknot fan. Is anyone else?" But the way you phrased it doesn’t really work.
Also, the 5th question you mentioned was actually better the way it started. The phrase "Is there any woman" makes sense when you are asking for one woman who fits the given description.

Yes, it bothers me. I am a teacher and want to get out my red pen every time I see the errors! Some are from other countries, some are typing errors, however, most are not. What does that say for our educational system!

One last point to ponder…what possesses a person to start their answer with: "listen pal". One, it is being read. Two, you don’t know this person. PLEASE shoot me (grin). I’m having quite a good time myself. Yup, me, myself, and I.

I mostly agree with Tangle Elfsh…. However, I do believe that a lot of people here are not Native english speakers who are communicating at their level best. This is a positive! BTW, while we are critiquing the English language, in your re-phrase of sentence number one, a grammatically correct sentence does not end in a preposition. A more correct sentence would be: What is the purpose of the twisted seams on jeans? Thanks for the two points…..weelaxx

Many people do, in fact, have poor grammar, but as Denise pointed out, it is important to leep in mind that there are many non-native English speakers here.
Equally important is the understanding that there are many different age groups represented on this site.
Also, many people deliberately use phrasings that approximate the way that they actually speak, rather than using proper grammar. I see nothing wrong with this, as it is simply a more casual approach.
